It is with a heavy heart that we have to share that we are closing Ales of Scilly brewery at the end of the year.

A combination of increased costs, a change in demand and our own family commitments have combined to make continuing a challenge too far!

We have had a fantastic 7 years making our popular ales for local businesses and visitors and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and for being part of the Scilly Brew Crew family.

Our journey began back in 2017 when we took over from Mark who decided to retire (again)! We never had a "typical" season with pregnancies, brewery babies and lockdowns, not to mention the craziness when Scilly (and the world) opened back up mid summer 2021 with about a weeks notice! You guys drunk the brewery dry a few times - we just couldn't keep up!

We started to support local events with bars last year, something that we will continue to do and hopefully grow with our own events calendar so please keep an eye out for us and come say hello. We will be sourcing as much of our stock as we can, including ales, from Scilly and Cornwall to support our fellow local producers.
